Hollywood’s big night for celebration is right around the corner–the 83rd Annual Academy Awards is on February 27, 2011! Everyone is excited to watch the movie stars walk the red carpet and receive their awards for great performances! And, Pocoyo, who has himself won many awards around the globe, has a special surprise to share to celebrate the event!
Pocoyo will be starring in his very own advertisements starting
this week throughout the month of February on the premiere entertainment channel, E! Entertainment Television! And, if you watch
E!’s Pre-Awards Show on the night of February 27th, you will no doubt see
Pocoyo doing what he does best, playing and having fun with his friends!
For those of you who are wondering what
Pocoyo is.
The multi-award winning Pocoyo television series launched in the U.S. in 2010 and airs on Nick Jr., PBS and Univision. The toy line, available at Toys”R”Us and Amazon.com, launched in fall 2010 and features characters from the television series. Bandai’s toys, targeting preschool children ages one through three, capture the vibrant and exuberant world of Pocoyo and his animal friends, encouraging them to “learn through laughter.”
Following the adventures of three-year-old Pocoyo (“little me” in Spanish), the CGI series brings children into the bright world of an inquisitive and fun-loving boy and his animal friends, Elly (the elephant), Pato (the duck) and Loula (the dog). Co-produced by Zinkia and ITV STUDIOS Global Entertainment, the international smash hit series Pocoyo, which has been broadcast in over 100 territories worldwide, has gained a large following of young fans in the United States with episodes airing daily at 4:25 pm on Nick Jr., Nickelodeon’s 24-hour commercial-free, educational preschool network in the United States, as well as airing on PBS, Univision and Discovery Familia.
