The Body Shop {Free Shipping, No Minimum}

Many stores are getting a headstart on tomorrow’s Cyber Monday!  I was too busy recovering from Thanksgiving to post Black Friday deals – but, I’m hoping to deluge you with all the best sales, starting now. :)

Starting this evening, The Body Shop is offering free shipping with no minimum purchase!   You can find cute pre-wrapped stocking stuffers for as low as $9.  And, all their products (excluding prepackaged gifts, gift cards, Love Your Body memberships, and charitable items) are 3 for $30.  I’m thrilled that they brought back their Cranberry Joy Shower Gel – I got several bottles last year and have really enjoyed their fragrance all year long! :)

If you have special guests or family coming over the holidays, you can create a little basket of bath items that they can use while they are visiting and take home with them at the end of their stay.  I love putting together the Body Shop Satsuma Bar Soap ($4.00), Shea Body Scrub ($6.00), the Bath Lily ($3.00), and the Mini Satsuma Body Gel ($4.00).  It makes for a very special and welcoming touch!

Review & Giveaway {Carmex Healing Lotion & Healing Cream}

Carmex Healing Lotion

This giveaway has ended!  Congratulations, Michelle!

Because everyone loves the healing powers of Carmex lip balms, Carmex decided to use their expertise to create a skin care line that would heal, soothe, and moisturize dry skin.  Both their Healing Lotion and Healing Cream boast a non-greasy feel and quality ingredients that will keep your skin feeling great, all winter long.

Carmex sent me a gift bag with their Healing Lotion and Cream, so our family could put them to the test.  Both my husband and I like the Healing Lotion’s delicate scent of warm vanilla – it isn’t overpowering or too fruity for my husband’s taste (a good thing, since he won’t set a toe nail in Bath & Body Works, if he can help it :)).  So thankfully, Carmex chose a fragrance that appeals to both men and women, a rare find these days!

If you’re like me, you might be a little confused as to the difference between their Lotion and Cream.  But, upon closer reading, I found that the Healing Lotion is for everyday moisturizing while the Healing Cream is much more concentrated and useful for expediting the healing of badly chapped skin.  While the winter hasn’t gotten bitterly cold yet, my skin has felt rejuvenated since using the Healing Lotion.  And, I’m sure when the temperatures drop into the negative numbers, my elbows and hands will appreciate the extra “babying” from the Healing Cream.

Even better?  Carmex makes their skin care products affordable!  The suggested retail price of their full size tubes are $5.99 and their smaller size tubes (approximately 1 oz) are $0.99, currently available at CVS and Walgreens.  As usual, I love the smaller size tubes, because they slip into my purse so nicely.  I have one in my purse’s side pocket, so it’s always at my fingertips, when we’re on the go.
