My favorite time of the year: the annual Loudoun Library Foundation Booksale is this weekend, June 15 – 17, 2012! Held at the Smart’s Mill Middle School (850 North King Street) in Downtown Leesburg, this enormous sale offers over 100,000 books, CDs, and DVDs. They offer great prices and a wonderful selection of items (especially children’s books!) – if you’re looking for a way to kickoff your summer, stop at the booksale and let your children pick out some reading materials that look entertaining!
Dates and Times
- Friday, June 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, June 16th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday, June 17th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Bag Sale)
There is free admission and parking. They will only accept cash & checks, no credit cards. On Sunday only, they will offer the Brown Paper Bags Sale: $10 per bag OR 3 bags for $25 – you can fill the bags with as many books as you can!
