$100 VISA GC Giveaway {Seamless Food Delivery}

by sarah on 07/02/2012

I’m so excited to bring you this terrific giveaway, sponsored by Seamless!  But, before we get to the awesome details, here is a little history about our terrific sponsor.

Seamless is simply the easiest way to order food for delivery or takeout. Whatever you’re in the mood for, wherever you’re in the mood for it, they’ve got it. No menus, no phone calls, no repeating yourself. Since their inception in 1999, they have delivered food happiness to over 1 million users from over 10,000+ restaurants in 40 cities.  They guarantee you the best food possible in the best way possible. Delivery or takeout, individual or corporation, they’re serious when they say “your food is here.”

My best friend has a love-hate relationship with a local mom-and-pop Indian restaurant.  Their made-from-scratch dishes make your mouth water!  But, the one glitch to ordering?  No one in their restaurant speaks any English, and listening to my friend place her order is better than watching a sit-com.  Between her slaughtering the pronunciation of the Indian dishes and their lack of understanding, it’s on par with playing food roulette, as to what will arrive on our doorstep!

Seamless takes care of all those problems: they deal with restaurants who only use fax, with proprietors who don’t speak English, with businesses who are lacking tech-savvy.  As Seamless CEO Jonathan Zabusky explained in an interview, “Across the industry, 90% of our restaurants are independent mom-and-pops.  These are not technology folks; these are not marketing folks. They happen to make great food, though.”  I love that Seamless reaches across the technology divide and helps these mom-and-pop restaurants, that might otherwise become extinct!

PJ Clark's Parmesan Tater Tots

The best news?  Seamless is available right here in Washington, DC!  They have revolutionized the food delivery in DC, by ensuring that anyone can get a meal from a top-rated restaurant, day or night without picking up a phone or visiting an ATM.  And, with campaign season heating up, I’m sure there will be many of you in DC who will become attached to their food delivery website, before November rolls around!  You can choose from over 600 restaurants in DC, Rockville, Reston, and almost anywhere else near the Beltway; and, if you’re ever at a loss for what delectable cuisine to sample, visit the Seamless Blog that offers helpful suggestions!  Right now, the most bookmarked DC restaurant of the week is PJ Clark that offers everything from Parmesan Tater Tots to Maryland Jumbo Crab Cake Sandwiches.

And, now that you’ve waited so patiently, here is the amazing giveaway that Seamless is offering you:
