by sarah on 09/10/2012

On Saturday, September 22, 2012, starting at 2 PM,  Potomac Mills, the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in Virginia, will once again present “Celebrating Women,” a fashionista’s dream. The trendsetting event will feature a runway show highlighting the season’s hottest looks for less hosted by Lani Inlander, Owner and Chief Stylist from Real Life Style. In addition, guests will enjoy free gifts (for the first 200, while supplies last), exclusive discounts, an after party at Bloomingdale’s – The Outlet Store and “Style Stops” at participating stores.

The Runway Event will begin at 2 PM and feature the season’s hottest trends from designer brands available at stores in the center’s Fashion District. Immediately following the show, you’ll have the chance to pepper Lani with all your burning fashion questions!

At 3 PM, guests are  invited to an after party at Bloomingdale’s – The Outlet Store featuring complimentary hors d’oeuvres and live musical entertainment from the University of Virginia’s all-female a cappella group, the Virginia Belles.  Attendees will also enjoy interactive fashion and style experiences, or “Style Stops,” hosted by several of Potomac Mills’ Fashion District retailers from 1PM – 5PM. These in-store events will include special discounts, informal modeling, trunk shows, personal shoppers, giveaways, entertainment, refreshments and more to help women look and feel their best.

And, the FIRST 50 people to RSVP (and come to the event) will each receive the Runway Event VIP Experience, which features reserved seating and a fabulous swag bag including a $20 American Express/Simon Giftcard!  Just email rware@simon.com to RSVP.

And, if you mention that Capitally Frugal referred you, I’ll be ever so grateful!  Potomac Mills is running a contest and the blog with the most number of people referred will win  a gift card.  I know it’s a long shot, but if I win, I’ll host a giveaway! :)
