Walmart & HP Challenge {& a $20 Walmart GC Giveaway!}

To demonstrate the ease of purchasing household necessities and printer ink at Walmart, we were given a $75 gift card to purchase an HP XL ink cartridge and use the remainder to fill our carts with groceries!  With holidays just around the corner, I decided to use part of my gift card to stock up on canned goods/non-perishable items for a local food bank, Loudoun Interfaith Relief.  Ever since my husband’s company provided IT support for them, he’s wished we could be a more active participant in their efforts.  And using a portion of our gift card seemed like the perfect way!

But, lest you think that we were completely altruistic, we did make a few purchases for ourselves!  My car has been in desperate need of new windshield wipers, so we grabbed a new set, along with De-icer Fluid to make frost removal more bearable in the mornings!  Plus, we still had a little leftover to re-stock our supply of laundry detergent and toilet tissue.

By combining Walmart’s Everyday Low Prices and a few of my coupons, I was able to get:

And, this challenge also encouraged me to make my first video, a very nerve-wracking experience for someone who hates public speaking.    But, my husband kindly shot it multiple times, without shooting me, for which we are all very grateful!  You can enjoy it for your morning’s amusement.  Just to warn you: Katie Couric, I am not!
